Situated on the banks of the Crocodile River at the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park is Marloth Park, which is unique in South Africa in that no fences are permitted around any property. The result is that wild animals roam freely, around the lodges and streets. Elephants are frequent visitors to the Crocodile River, which is home to hippo and crocodiles. It is common place to witness many species of buck and antelope in Marloth Park, The chance of seeing buffalo, giraffe, zebra, warthog, baboons and monkeys is excellent.
